Since Leisure Heating Ltd originally designed the six-sided pendant heater back in 2004, infra-red technology has moved on and other companies have widely copied the original designs. We thought it was time to radically change the design of our pendant heater so we have launched the much more efficient short-wave Infrared model which delivers around 30% more useful heat than its predecessor while only using the same amount of energy!

As with our whole range of pendant heaters, this energy-efficient hexagonal 4.8kW heater with LED light has been designed and manufactured by Leisure Heating Ltd specifically for use in thatched gazebos, pavilions and garden rooms.

Description

This new design of a six-sided pendant heater is the largest in the range and delivers a huge 4.8kW of heat from twelve short-wave infra-red lamps. The 4.8kW short-wave output is roughly equivalent to the heat felt from the 6kW medium-wave design making it 30% more efficient at heating you and your guests.

The heater has three selectable outputs: 1800W, 3000W or 4800W via a waterproof switch (supplied). It also has a central LED down-light rated at 4W (equivalent to a 50W halogen) giving a crisp white daylight output. This light is switched separately via the supplied 3-gang switch.

Uses-

Extend your summer evenings with the Leisure Heating infra-red pendant gazebo heater. This easy-to-use radiant heater is designed for larger thatched gazebos, pavilions and summerhouses and attaches to the underside of the gazebo roof from chains. Ideal to heat you and your guests on those spring, summer and autumn evenings long after the sun’s warmth has diminished.
